To strengthen its European service capabilities, Enzymaster has established VIRIDA BioCat GmbH as an independent partner company based in Germany. VIRIDA provides high-quality CRO services for biocatalysis development, supporting early feasibility studies and process development.
Through its partnership with Enzymaster, VIRIDA BioCat has access to tens of thousands of enzymes and engineered variants within Enzymaster’s extensive
enzyme panels. Selected highperformance enzymes from these panels are also available as ready-to-use general enzyme kits (e.g., for transaminases, KREDs, IREDs, EREDs, aldolases, etc.).
What VIRIDA BioCat offers:
- Route scouting and initial process feasibility assessment for biocatalytic processes (complimentary evaluation)
- AI-assisted in-silico enzyme discovery and identification, as well as AI-driven enzyme engineering
- Experimental feasibility studies, including enzyme screening, reaction optimization, and downstream process development
- Process scale-up and industrial production of enzymes and chemicals in collaboration with Enzymaster
